High school and college transfer students are invited to experience Shocker Nation at Black & Yellow Day this fall!
At Black & Yellow Day, students will:
8:30 a.m. - Admitted Student Recognition*
8:30 a.m. - Check-in opens and Shocker Experience Fair
9:15 a.m. - Welcome to Wichita State Presentation
10:00 a.m. – Campus Tour
10:45 a.m. - Academic College Sessions
11:45 a.m. - Lunch/Optional Sessions
12:45 p.m. - Interactive Sessions
2:00 p.m. - Check-out and receive Wichita State T-shirt
Additional Opportunities: At the end of the day, you’ll have the opportunity to explore extra sessions and tours. These tours are optional to attend and include a Housing and Residence Life tour and Shocker Studios Tour.
At Black & Yellow Day, students will:

- Explore academic and student life opportunities
- Hear from current Wichita State students
- Check out on-campus housing options
- Receive a Wichita State t-shirt at the end of the day!
