You've been admitted to Wichita State - let's celebrate! Wichita State staff and students are excited to host Wichita Metro students for an Admitted Student Reception. Admitted high school seniors and college transfer students will have the opportunity to connect with other Wichita-area future Shockers and get an overview of next steps to joining Shocker Nation.

A tentative agenda for the event includes:

10:30 a.m. Check-in opens
10:30-11:00 Optional Mix & Mingle for New Shockers
11:00-11:15 Welcome & Admissions Presentation
11:15-11:45 Housing, Financial Aid, & One Stop Advising
11:45-12:05 Student Panel with members of Student Ambassador Society
12:05-12:15 Scholarship Drawing & Closing

This event is free of charge. Light refreshments will be provided.
