    W-S-YOU Admitted Student Experience

    Join us for a day that's all about W-S-YOU!

    Admitted high school seniors and transfer students     are invited to discover the many opportunities at Wichita State by attending W-S-YOU! Still deciding on joining Shocker Nation? Definitely know you're going to be a Shocker? No matter where you're at in the process, this event is for YOU!

    Attend W-S-YOU to: 
    • Register for Orientation
    • Submit your Housing contract
    • Hear from an advisor about your first semester at Wichita State in a group advising session. (Please note - you will not be building your schedule or enrolling at this event. This session would give you an idea of what your first semester might look like.)
    • Connect with other admitted students for Fall 2026
    • Browse tables at the Shocker Experience Fair 
    • Take part in your very own signing day
    • Discuss the benefits of a Wichita State education
    • Speak with your department of interest
    • Hear about current Shockers’ experiences
    • Meet with an Admissions Representative to ask any additional questions you may have
    • Leave with Wichita State Swag!
    Other opportunities at W-S-YOU include: 
    • A job fair where you can meet and network with on-campus employers
    • Attending mock classes led by Wichita State faculty
    • A session conducted in Spanish by the Admissions Office about what life is like as a Shocker
    • Chances to win prizes from posting to social media
    Register by Monday, March 23 to reserve your spot! 

    All admitted students who complete their Enrollment Questionnaire & register for Orientation by March 27 and attend W-S-YOU on March 28 will leave with a Future Shocker yard sign! 

    Beginning February 2, admitted students can complete their Enrollment Questionnaire and register for Orientation. wichita.edu/orientation
