Wichita State’s Student Ambassador Society (SAS) is hosting its annual leadership conference on Wednesday, March 11!

SAS is a group of current students who work with the Office of Admissions to share their passion for Shocker Nation with prospective students. The annual leadership conference helps high school students of all grades develop their leadership skills.

SAS's 2026 Leadership Conference will feature a keynote speaker, breakout sessions, small group discussions, activities, and more to assist students in developing their leadership to its fullest potential. Attendees will learn how to adapt to new experiences, collaborate, and explore the limitless boundaries of leadership.

A tentative agenda for the day includes:

9:00-9:30 a.m. Check-in and Light Breakfast
9:30-10:00 a.m. Welcome and Overview
10:00-10:55 a.m. Keynote Speaker
11:00-11:35 a.m. Breakout Room 1
11:40-12:15 p.m. Breakout Room 2
12:15-12:50 p.m. Lunch
1:00 -2:15 p.m. Debrief
2:30-3:15p.m. Optional Campus Tours*

*Optional Campus Tours: We will offer an optional campus tour after the conference starting at 2:30p.m. The tour will last until 3:15p.m. and will give a closer look at classrooms, housing, and campus life at Wichita State.

Cost of the SAS Leadership Conference is $15 and includes a workbook, conference t-shirt, and lunch. Students will receive a final confirmation email with the students' customized schedules the week of SAS Leadership Conference.
